We set up new initiatives and advance to the next phase, “100-year company” after achieving “VISION 2020” – “Building a corporate foundation that is resistant to external factors”.
We need to steer in a new direction while the global industry, energy, and supply chains are impacted by the factors such as the global pandemic and Russia’s invasion to Ukraine.
Tokyo Foundry Group work together to provide high-quality Japan-made castings that can compete in the world.
We promote complete in-house production of all processes from proposal to mold production, casting, and quality control. Ultimate high quality that we advocate is achieved by fully controlling production and quality assurance.
In addition to aluminum casting, we also mass-produce cast iron by using H process.
We introduced robots for production and quality control such as casting, analysis, and dimensioning to pursue “the company that makes the ultimate castings with a small number of elites”.
In the past, the main purpose of using robots was to reduce costs through labor savings. However, we utilize robots for routine work so that employees can devote to the job that only humans can do – idea generation, research & development. This will raise our employees’ competency, leading to the improvement of our business values.
Since 2020, it has been an urgent task for business entities to build a business structure that can respond to unpredictable global situations and risks. Therefore, we also formulated a BCP (Business Continuity Plan) that can respond flexibly by assuming such situation.
We take proactive actions and aim for growth both in quality and quantity by operating domestic production system that can complete within us and our group companies, strengthening our group by M&A, operating Shinto plant (in 2023), and restart the operation of Bangalore plant in India (in 2023).
Towards the achievement of sustainable society, we operate our business not only to grow the business itself but also dedicate to problem solving such as carbon neutral, employment, education, and welfare as our SDGs activities positioned as our important strategy.
